Update: Protomotive GT2 now at 715rwhp and 698rwtq

Peter's Supra has a built bottom end and a mild port. Stock, they can still dyno 1000 the tire, but the common stoping point is around 750 to the tire. I would be willing to make a safe bet that motor at 750whp is more durable than a 996 at 700whp

But from the performance stand point, I am curious to see how the early torque delivery and aerodynamic advantages of your GT2 will make up for its hp deficit against the Supra.

As much as i love Porsche cars. I must admit that riding in a 730 whp Supra 2 weeks ago put a big smile on my face. Guys, our cars are very well built and can be modded well. But, since i am building a friends Supra project car, and having ride in that 730 whp car. I would say that the Supra's rule the streets when it comes to V6, Boxer engines or Inline 6 cylinder engines. Let's see what happens when a Porsche TT runs into a Supra, with similar HP output. That would be realy interesting.

Great numbers! And if I had to choose between a 700 whp TT Porsche or a 700 whp Supra I would pick the P car no doubt! Which would be faster wouldn't make a difference to me. Good luck with your beast.

Well, the Supra in my group at the track today blew a gasket and was spewing oil all over. We were both running novice (my first time tracking ever) yet once I figured out the lines I was able to pass and pull away from him substantially. He had a 720 whp Supra. His engine troubles happened at the end of the run.
Jamie....why are you comming all the way to Houston and missing the track event? You now have a car that is great for straight line racing and track events. Why are you only experiencing half of your cars potential? Admitedly, tracking is hard on a car, but a GT2 has to be tracked at least once to really understand what the car is capable of.
