EGT Question - Porsche Experts Please Advise!
Guys
I was just doing some spirited runs this morning and Data Logging some info so I could look at it later... When looking at the info, everything looks good..
I am running 1.3 Bar on 101 octane and my AFR's look good BUT my EGT's are anywhere from 1550 - 1620 F at WOT and then they come back down to around 1000 - 1200 upoin light normal city driving.
Is this too hot?
I dont understand EGT's and Porsches, whats the safe Temp or is there a limit? What are some of you seeing at "High" boost levels?
Whats temp will stuff in the engine start melting?
