I know Dinan very well, as they used my old M5 as a prototype. (the only issue with Dinan is that their HP/TQ numbers are not as advertised, at least for the M5 S2 kit)

Chad,

I have a a 1998 Dinan M3 Cab as well that car pretty much has all the Dinan goodies except the supercharger. Handles like a go cart.

Ok, who's going now?

If we are 4 people, lets just get 2 rooms and share.

What time should we leave on the 8th?

I suggest we leave on the 8th around 6am to avoid the morning rush hour out of the bay area, take our time and get into AZ in the mid-afternoon. This way we will have some time to rest before the 9th.

So lets meet somewhere in near Gilroy as Sharkster and Robert live around there.

The 8th may work, Friday morning may prove to be better for me. Plus it's Good Friday so I'm sure traffic will be an issue either day. What does the rest of the group have to say? I'll be driving back Saturday evening for an Easter commitment I have.

lol...

- "Mid afternoon" = 2 PM.
- 6 am - 2 pm = 8 hours.
- 722 miles.
- Two gas stops at 15 min each.
- One "comfort stop" at 10 minutes.
- One emergency stop for Sharky to re-apply the duct tape that flew off on that last 170 MPH jaunt = 10 minutes.
- One lunch at 40 minutes.

"..take our time..." at an average of 111 miles per hour.

Yep, them's my Boyz ...

Doug,

What ever do you mean? Fred drives like my Grandma and Sharkey had his duct tape clear coated on so it won't fly off any more.

Not to mention that for this trip I not only "chipped" my car, heck I put in a whole bag 'O chips...

Heya Brian if I could that'd be sweet.... My wife has confiscated mine for months now as she's using it in her car and since she'll be in LA that weekend it'd be neat

PS Sorry I couldn't make it to Carlsen to pick that check up Any chance we can try again sometime?

Thanks!

Come on guys...surely one of you wants to make a college guy's dream come true. You could sleep a little easier at night knowing that you just made a difference in one person's life

I read this forum day and night and just want a taste of what's like to drive 10 hours with one of you guys. I'm down on bended knee...hell I could bring a digital video camera and then make a short video of the Evo weekend.

ILL PAY FOR GAS

Did I mention that I'm a professional map reader? My deadly eye sight allows me to see cops miles before a V1 picks them up
