Spark Plugs (The Finale)

I've already done several searches, and gone through numerous threads. It's clear that I need new spark plugs. Now the question is, which ones are the best for a 650-700 HP application?

Bosch FR6 LCD

OR

Denso Double Platinum

How long will those plugs last? Is it "normal" for a 650HP car like yours to need spark plug replacement every 15K?

It really depends on how much you boost. If ur at 1.3 bars regularly then I would change them once a year.

What should the plugs be torqued down to?

Does the FR6LDC have any advantage over the Denso plugs (say 500-550hp application)? Am I correct in believing the Bosch plug is a standard copper plug? I would have thought the Platinum option would be the right direction. Is the PK20PR-P8 still appropriate for the lower HP applications?

That I don't know. I am using the Denso plugs though. I don't really think it matters in your case.

Interesting that everyone who has answered in this thread has recommended the Denso plugs, yet 63.64% of the poll voted for Bosch but nobody has come forward and defended their vote??

Are the Denso plugs more suited to the bigger horsepower motors and give relatively smaller gains for us stage2/stage3 guys?

I wouldnt put either. BKR7E 6097 NGK is all I will use for a high HP application. Its not a choice. FR6LDC is the stock plug but bosch instead of BEru. Why would I use a stock plug regapped for over 550hp. THats over 130 hp more then stock?!?! one step colder over here and the car loves it. Idles better then ever and crisp.
