Is it true there is a material that you can put on your car like paint that absorbs radar?

I got nailed going 104 in a 75 Zone in Wyoming of all places. The cop asked me if I knew how fast I was going..I said nope..just riding along..then he says"What's the Hurry anyways"? It was Friday the 13th in 98 I think...anyways..I said "I have a tee off time in 3 hours"! I was on my way home for Father's Day and was still 250 miles from my destination! He Didn't find the humor in that..He said "I don't think you are going to make it"..I was kind of smart assed and said.."I can if you write that up quick"! Went to see the Judge right then...then I had 48 hours in JAIL!! He was right...I didn't make my tee time and had Nasty Jail Pasta all weekend! 26 Tickets to date..and probably still counting!

 

124 mph on the Garden State Parkway....

yikes...6 month suspension...

i drove every day....12 hours remaining on the suspension....I get pulled over for speeding....and he lets me go without checking...

I have been good since and haven't gotten a ticket in 3 years until....last weekend...arghhhh....red light....barely red...unreal.

should be reduced to no points.

years ago, I probably had 75 moving violations...took years to clean up...then not a ticket for years...until that 124 mph...

 

wow 124 on the GSP nice i (knock on wood) never got pulled over doing more then 80 on the gsp seems like everytime im really moving on the gsp the cops either arent there or they dont even pull out to try to catch me.. was the cop moving with traffic at the time or was he on the side of the road?

 

No tickets in 14 years driving several different P-cars. Last ticket I got was while in my Mazda P/U. Yeah, I drive fast, but not stupidly fast. The V-1 has saved me many, many times.

I use a V-1 now all the time.

It was 'funny' but almost never drive that fast. I decided to take it up for this one stretch on a perfect day with not a car on the road and wham...

I was a sitting duck.

I am actually slowing down all the time. It is crazy on the roads here in NJ...I remind myself not to speed or drive too aggressively all the time.

It seems to be getting worse and worse out there....or is it me?

 

A few years ago some guy from Japan shipped his Lambo Diablo to California from Japan. He decided to get the bissest speeding ticket ever issued. I think he still holds the record with a 187 mph in a 70 mph zone. I think the fine approached $100,000 and he got some jail time to boot.

Uncanny. Just last night, I was clocked 42 in a 25. Didn't get the speeding ticket. The "nice" officer gave me a seat belt violation instead (even though I was wearing it).

 

120 in a 70 on I-70 in Kansas. Deserted road. The officer had me on my way in under 5 minutes, lowered the ticket to 80 without my saying or doing anything and asked me to slow down.
