Ferraris sound sweet but they are very high pitched. *hence the no drone caused by bass. Very F1.

I love the way my car sounds. Not so F1, but more masculine and bassy. I just got Speed Gallery's slightly louder Remus. BAAAAAAAARRRP! ...Good Bye!

360 or F430 can't even compare

 

Flat 6 turbo will never sound like high class V8. How about aiming for a really cool sounding Porsche 996TT?

 

I have the EP Stage II loud and love it.

If you like the higher pitched sound you can change out the headers. I added the EVO K24 sport headers and it made quite a difference in the sound. You can now hear the spin of the turbos, which wasn't there with the stock headers. My goal was a few more HP, not the higher pitched sound. I actually liked the old sound better.

i think the closest you will get is via a kreissieg-F1 valvetronic exhaust, not cheap mind you but it will provide an awesome sound!

I have the Kreis Sieg titanium on my TT X50. There's a highway underpass about a quarter of a mile from my office - I live for that - every morning I go WOT there and the sound is exhilarating -

 

wow i bet that is amazing!! ..need sound clips fella! In terms of quality you cant really get better than Kreis Sieg and maybe some sort of inconel exhaust.

 

Franz,i just removed the tubi really liked it, would not have removed it by am going to 700-750 hp and needed larger flowing system. I bought a europipe loud sound is simular, price is not. the major differance i see is you can here the turbos on the ep. good luck.

 

Did you have the 1st or 2nd generation Tubi ??

 

May be the best sounding I've heard for the turbo. Still FAR from a F-car but still nice when you go by.

 

I think the Kreissieg sounds like any other free flowing or straight pipe, doesnt do anything for me on the 996TT...

OK, OK, if my TT had to sound like a Gallardo I guess I could tolerate it.

 

If there was such an F1 sounding exhaust, I'm sure half this forum (including myself) would be opening up our wallets. PCar sound is the next best thing.

 

best sounding exhaust on a street car ever belongs to the CGT, unfortunately only way to replicate it is a VERY LOUD radio system.

 

cgt w straight pipes sounds unreal.
