They don't sell kits of 911, only boxster it seems.

How much was it? I think I am going to get it done too.

So, it is just a tinted plastic film that goes on top of the lights? It does look real good. Also does it still light up the rear lights enough? Thanks.

It still lights up the rears pretty good. If you know what you're doing and have tht tools, I'm sure someone could do this themselves...

So did you buy a bulk piece for the rears and cut it yourself? Also I assume the rear is the 35% tint.

The red and 3rd brake light are 35% and the clear is 20%. I had it done at the shop so I couldn't tell you exactly, but you could do it with the bulk.

I think the half tinted one looks kinda ricey. Maybe it looks better in person though.

I have been trying to get one of the board sponsers to spray my lights, not the film. But, I may call my local tint shop and see if they can do the lights for me.

This stuff is pretty thick. I think 17mm, the window stuff is much thinner. I don't know if it will produce the same results.

I've been seriously considering, but after being stopped for tinted windows this might just be another reason to get a "fix it" ticket. Especially in So Cal. At least i can role my windows down, can't really hide those. Looks awesome though!

Looks nice. I'm actually having Andy from StickerCity tint my lights next weekend when I drive down to LA. I want to black them all out.

Kind of like this. Except I want all lights that dark.
