Talking Non Turbo BOV??

Being a non turbo guy, I was looking at stuff to help me keep up with you guys. Looks like a great deal, if anyone's interested, I'd be more than happy to coordinate a group buy..

Actually, 996TT's need a Sunami as well, since the DV's don't make any cool sounds.

One of the reasons why my GT2 may get another set of Blitz or HKS blow off valves.

I hate to tell you this but having a blow-off valve on a non-turbo car will make little to no noise at all. The purpose of a blow-off valve on turbo cars is to release the air rushing back into the intake manifold from the turbo. If you don't do this, there is a chance that the air pressure will bend the throttle plate. Check out our website, we specialize in turbo cars! The reason why they're so popular is because most Japanese turbo cars need them and are designed to use them!

SP is awesome, they are the ones who modified my M5.

They also provided parts for my ex blue Turbo.

As you guys know, the DV system diverts that excess air back into the system as opposed to blowing it into the air. According to people I spoke with, there are really no advantages either way, by atmospheric blow off or diversion, it's just two ways of skinning the cat.

Folks with Audi's and GTis (other Bosch motronic turbo cars) have had issues using BOVs instead of DVs but I know it worked for you man... I want to sound like a Truck on crack too

for any car eqp with maf some is more sensitive then orther, you can get better blow offs, just have to plum back to the intake, you will not get the sound, but this hks, blitz, greddy,is defineately faster response, the sound is just fashion, we are making the kits now.

yes Alex, I agree it's just for sound but it's fun hearing it in a 996TT. The way my air box is so open, my DVs already make a BOV-type sound when I let off or between shifts Not as loud but still... Let us know on the kits
