In the dry, the GT2. The AWD taxes the front tires more, asking
for some forward grip as well as the cornering needing sideways
grip, so in the dry the 996tt will push more, all other things being
equal, and they aren't even equal because the lighter front of the
GT2 will turn in better. Lastly, the fac that the AWD system needs
the front and rear tires to have the same diameter makes the
competitive tire choices fewer and narrower for the 996tt compared
to the tires available for a GT2. I 'compete' against a GT2 that has
been configured to run 285's *on the front*. When it's a dry track
I'm toast. In the wet I can win with the 996tt.
