Ok:

My guess is he is a BIT high but not much.

Car:
01 Orient Red with Gray
Supple leather
Full carbon fiber package
NAV
Heated seats
PSM
28k miles
Litronics
Does have Bumperettes (oh well)

They would be giving me 40k for my 99 C2 that has 26k miles on it. And the price for his is 80k

I do not mind the "high" miles. It is under warrenty. Heck this car is barely been broken in at 28k miles

Thanks in advance

Doesn't seem like a bad price, that Turbo has a lot of options including the carbon fiber, navvie, and heated seats.

Orient Red is one of those hate it or love it colors, just so you know. Whoever you're dealing with probably discounted what it paid for the car for that reason.

Be sure you want that particular car. The options really mean about nothing in additional value (and I assume you know PSM and litronics are standard equipment on all Turbos, not options).

Also, see if you can negotiate the 30,000 mile service in the price and have it done now. To me, and again this is subjective, I'd take the white Turbo for mid 80's meantioned above over this one for $80 and a $40 trade in on your 996.

Hey Devil (Dr. Jim right):

How are you!? I wish I could find a Gaurds Red beast like yours. How is the M5?

JAS:

What do you mean by "you would lift the offer"?

I am not sure if I can live with the color. It is nice but trendyish. My wife thinks I will be bored with it in a few months.

Damn I hate this! It has everything I want to..............

Tim, M5 is good. Barry B. from CA was here visiting a few weeks ago and complimented the trunk mat. I told him i got it from you when you were "parting out" the M5. Guards red is not that common. There are always a few nice Turbos in the AutoWeek classifieds if you stay in the market. We saw a 993 TT in Orient and it is nice. More luxury than sport IMO. Color is so subjective. White is really nice if you can find it, as is Cobalt. Be sure to check eBay and call any seller directly as a lot of them are at dealers who just use the listing as a means of advertising and they don't expect it to sell on auction. If you can find one with some performance mods, get it b/c you will save a bundle. The difference between stock and modded can't be imagined. Good luck!

77k

Give him 75k and call it a night

You'll definatly get it for that. Just keep pushing about the 30k miles etc.
