Just ran a Ninja ZX-7R

Pulled several bus lengths on it. Twice. Both were from around 85 mph to about 150 (4th 5th pulls).

Guy was cool and gave a thumbs up.....of course I waved back politely.

I know they are just 750cc, but I thought that these bikes were faster. Huh.

Ya....the 600 and 750 cc bikes are fairly easy kills at your power level. The liter bikes are what you need to look out for.

I feel like a bully now....I pulled up behind him on the highway...he was in the fast lane and didn't signal/move over so I moved over to the right lane.....was running even with him (of course keeping my car close to full boost) and he hit it....he barely got half a length before I pulled hard on him.

He probably thought my car was just a run of the mill 911 at first.

Depends on the car. My car at Stage 2 whooped up on 600 cc bikes pretty easily up to 140 or so. But I was also trapping 126 mph. I would guess most Stage 2's (trapping 120 or so) would probably beat a 600cc bike at high speeds, but not a 750.

Actually, the ZX-7R was made until 2003. My car was manufactured in 2002.

So, I am not guilty of elder abuse.

Because is was an overall disappointing bike for Kaw....and only did minor tweaks to it over the years....until they dropped it for good 4 years ago

I feel better now. I suppose that the walking was the result of my catching him in full boost. Also, I don't think he was too game after 140.

Glad you feel better now. Go find tyical rider 1/4 mile times & traps. Running a low powered, heavy bike like a Zx7 from a high roll is nothing to write home about. Go past 130 and even liter bikes start hitting the aero wall. Not counting the rider effect which plays a HUGE part in bike races.
