dont forget to factor in labor costs. also you can get alot of the stuff for half price used .. try posting in the classified section for items you need. If I were you though, Id wait and buy a modded car from one of the members here... lot of nice cars come up for sale with the mods already done.

The techart bumper replica and GT2 wing with side skirts is available for about $4500 at nr auto, but your in the UK so it might me more with shipping, if you go for the tech art original, the front bumper alone is around $6K.
All the exhaust systems range around $3 to $4K.

As I told you in a pm already, go for the turbo for several resons.. For all of the upgrading and modifying you want to do, plus the city/daily driving the GT2 just won't live up to the practicality for you.. BTW I would mnever get a GT2 and then start replacing body parts, adding 19 inch iforged wheels and so on, its just not its function, but again that is me!

I'm a newbie so I don't have much cred yet, but I recently went through the same decision making process. Drove a GT3, GT2, and TTS. I bought the TTS and I'm ecstatic about my choice. I LOVE the car. I was very close to buying the GT3 or GT2, and now that I have the TTS, I realize that either of the GTs would have been the wrong choice for me. But you have to understand that mine is a DD. I love the amenities in the TTS. Even the Bose makes me very happy every day!

Farris, truly if you ask that question TT or GT2 then you belong in a TT. The 2 brotherhood know all to well that the TT will not satisfy their need for speed or driver involvment. Don't purchase a machine that will be over your head and you fear. Enjoy the TT for a year or two and then if the GT2 bug bites and you will know when then purchase one..

If you're going to spend all that $$$ on mods to a TT might as well get the GT2. It has most of the mods you want, will be less expensive in the long run and retain more of its value. Too bad mods never seem to add much in value. GT2 are harder to drive unless you're had other RWD 911 (except this one is on steroids). After 4 RWD non-turbo 911's I got a TT because I know I would get in over my head in a GT2 and I'm the back side of the half century mark.
