Aftermarket Nav unit/sat radio

Thinking about putting in the new Pioneer z2 unit and new audio system...my current one is heavy and does not sound as good as I would like. My one concern is with regard to satellite radio and the xm/sirius merger. Do you think it is wise to wait to buy a new headunit until their new programming etc is figured out?

The FTC will not let this merge happen as this would create a monopoly. If it does happen they would have to make sure it is backwards compatible. Go ahead and get it.
