how would a 650hp gt2 stack up to a 1000hp viper ?
how would a ~3100lb 996gt2 with 650hp compare to a 890whp ~4000 lb supercharged viper ?
as far as a 0 to 200 race ?

my best friend has a 2002 dodge viper gts with 890 at the wheels (or maybe 990, i cant remember)
STOCK suspension and drag radials.
i want to shut him up and explain to him that horsepower isnt everything, and that aerodynamics and suspension are also key
if ANYONE is up for the challege PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE let me know because i really want to see a gt2 rip the doors off his car

the car is an underground racing built viper with 3.07 rear diff.
stock ****ty suspension with drag radials in the rear.
upgraded half shafts that broke a few times, the car's been in the shop quite a few times, and i PERSONALLY think that a 650hp gt2 will leave it to rot....
but my friend is really cocky about his car, and talks about racing veyrons, and even considers his dodge on the same level as porsches as far as performance..
ive personally driven the car a few times, and it has absolutely no stability or control, and i think its bark is louder than its bite

What color? Is he from N.Y.?What year?Try him in anything that involves some turns and some braking(roadcourse).....he will never hang and his car will be a real handfull......stay away from him in a straight line because unless he has a BS bolt on kit he probably has more horses than that if UR built it.

horsepower isnt everything, but it's the biggest part of everything. weight being second and the combination being 90% or everything.
You would get owned, unless he couldnt hook up. Underground cars are some beasts.

U need at least 700 rwhp to hang with him. a bolt on kit running on a stock FPR and stock fuel system will produce 550 rwhp at best. why dont u ask Joetwintt to run him.. that will make more sense.

edit: sorry I forgot your talking about a GT2 not a turbo, you should have about 200 lbs weight difference which is a carlength or two saved.
