I just got done with my custom exhaust and it is SIIIIIIIIIIIIICK!
- full T304 stainless
- 3" all the way through
- 100 cell race cats
- straight-through "cylinder" mufflers
- 2 cut stainless tips each side, 3" inside and 2.5" outside
Combines the best parts of Craig, Markski, and SallyMobile exhausts. Couldn't be happier.
Good luck with yours.

I'm planning to go with different tips on the next exhaust, probably dual wall, polished, like this:

This is a similar setup to Markski's, but I think he has 3" piping and no tips, but same resonators. Mine was fabbed up by Protosport which is a Protomotive dealer here in Jersey.
I first tried 3" piping but I couldn't take the drone. The 2.5" and resonators tokk care of that and no CEL's.

These cats flow a bit more than the Random Technology metal matrix cats, which are already pretty good.

The Car-Sound tech guy told me the 59959 is the lowest restriction cat they offer and that it is 300 cell. He told me no US manufacturer makes 100 cell cats because of our smog laws. I guess maybe they'll start making 100 cell cats when race cars are required to run cats.

The 59959 are similar, but flow a little less. They're a bit shorter, and are better for tighter placements. For the 996TT, there's plenty of room for the longer 59929.
Here's the info (shows both the 59929 and 59959):

Hey guys,
I did end up going with Raudels old custom exhaust setup with 3" piping using a magnaflow muffler with no cats and custom tips. The sound is absolutely incredible and should add a bit more power (turbos "feel" like they spool quicker). I was originally going to have a replica of Raudels exhaust fabbed up but John at Proto suggested I try out this one first. I tried it for about a week and really like the harmonics of this setup. I may end up going with something a bit "quieter" later on but for now this thing sounds absolutely perfect.
I'll try and take some pictures and video later this weekend and post it up.
