Id take my car to Paddock or ICS long before it would EVER make its way to Deman.

The motor only lasts for 75 hours prior to needing a rebuild. Yes, he said money is no option, but is the downtime acceptable as well every 75 hours?
First i ever heard of Paddock being mentioned.. You know Ken? Cool *** guy

I do, Ken is the man! Ive dynoed there a few times (I prefer Mustang to any other rollers) as well as have had some custom exhaust work done on a few different projects by Ken and his crew.

If you know Ken, you know Paddock is purely something for him to enjoy as he is already set $$ wise from previous employment. It is this that makes me appreciate the shop and his devotion even more: my kind of playground!

The 75 hour figure refers to WOT race track hours, as oppsed to 75 hours of street driving. No such rebuild would be required if the car is driven on the street.

Craig
Craig I looked into these gt25s Loren is using... I was told that he is using the gt25 housings with a gt35 wheel( my point is that they are not stock). Similar to what ur set up is except u have K24 based housing with gt30s...... So as far as I know he is not using straight up unmodified gt25s... Honestly, I am not a turbo guru but it does seem far fetched dont you think?

Markski,

I never asked Loren what wheels he is using. I must admit that I was surprised that he could get 860 RWHP out of standard GT25s, even with individual TBs and everything else he has done (thats greater than what Garrett shows as the maximum attainable power for those turbos). Therefore, your clarification that he is using larger wheels in GT25 housings makes sense.

I stated earlier.. more displacement, better crank for more RPMS, a matching head with a world cup challenge intake plenum. better pistons so you can utilize all 45 degrees of movement on the gt3 cams... current 996tt cams have 30 degrees.
Turbos: custom garrett GT35r with 76 mm compressors. direct drivers for bigger injectors... etc.
this will bring you to 1100 rwhp at 1.5 bars.

Money no object and requirement is to run 9s at 160+ MPH?

Gut the car down to 2800 lbs, back halve it with a four link and Ford 9", fit up 33"x17" slicks. All you will then need is the well documented GT30R conversion (no fancy engine work or R&D required).

When you cut a 1.3x short time you don't need 1200 rwhp.
