Very dangerous brake problem at the Nürburgring with 2 996 Turbos
#62
Is there still no proper solution to this problem?? One that continues to use the PSM system? I had a real scare last night with my stock 996tt.....My brakes felt as they were binding at first...so I decided to give it a few stomps to try and release the pads from the discs....big mistake...the car locked up all the wheels!!! ABS and PSM failure on the dash too
I had to have the car towed home on a flatbed...
Although when we were offloading the car from the flatbed, the brakes unlocked by themselves and when I fired it up, al the warnings disappeared too!
I am highly confused here....please help!!

Hi All...
I just thought I would post here in case someone still has this problem.
It turns out that the Brake Master Cylinder was the culprit. Changing it completely resolved my issue.
Cheers
