Question GT2 Lip Protector

Anyone know of something that can be put on the bottom of a GT2 front end so when you scrape bottom your not eating away/messing up the lip. Is there a metal protector or something???????????????

Todd,
You might try this:

For the 996 Turbo (No picture):
http://www.performanceproducts.com/P...tnumber=911800

For the 996 (WIth picture):
http://www.performanceproducts.com/P...oductid=101067

I am not too confident in it as a solution due to its shape, but it may be a start if you can get a photo of the 996TT version from them.

Danger, anything that is metal you run the risk of that thing digging in and ripping the nose off or ripping out of the nose. In theory it is a better idea than in practice. It is more of a concern with non OEM fiberglass lower noses, but I think it is better to rub the car and sand it down then run the risk off ripping it. Now if the real question is the OEM rubber black lip for the GT-2 nose, that is why it is flexible. I agree with buying a new one and keeping it in the garage.
