Being serious about this turbo in Ohio and need advice.
Hi guys,
Just wondering what you guys think of this dealer and the car they listed here, http://stoddard.autorevo.com/webtemp...spx?iid=105862 It has the color (exterior/interior) and options that I wanted so I'm thinking of jumping on it next weekend. Also, can anyone tell me the right price I should offer? The car is CPO till 01/2008 so do I still need the PPI? If so, how can I find someone to do it? Appreciate the inputs.
Cheers,
Ken

There has never been a better time to get a 996TT. There are so many to choose from, every color and some even come upgraded (wheels, stereos, spoilers, etc.). As for your question, I personally prefer brighter colors, would go with an lightly modded (stage II) car and 15-20k miles for that price.

datax,
I like the car and color, but I wouldn't pay more than 62K for that car.
Look in the for sale section here on 6speed.
You can find a lower mileage TT for 65K.
OPP...it is an old rap song (whos down with OPP, yeah you know me....)and a very tastless joke on my part.

I've been shopping for an 03 or 04 TT. For an 02, I agree on the $62 number.
DO NOT PUT ANY WEIGHT IN THE CPO.
One used car manager told me they don't even look at overspeed data when they CPO the car- so you could buy a CPO, blow up the motor, and PCNA turns around and says "you abused it".... get your own PPI from a different shop.
Good luck

That car is CLEAN, right color, navi, cpo i think you should try and work out some sort of deal, its a winner! I would def. pick it up for 70k if it were the lowest they would go and i was looking for the right 996TT!

Wow... $62k is sounds pretty low.
Hey- would you guys get a 2005 GT3 with 10,000 miles for $77k over this? I'm just curious because was shopping around and think I'm can get a smoking deal on GT3.

Just bought an '02, 33k miles, lightly optioned, one Beverly Hills owner, complete, comprehensive maintainance records, PPI done by local P-Car store, for $62k w/ favorable $$ on trade. I'd go $65K-$66k for that car w/ CPO.

In all honesty you need some good seat time in a turbo if you haven't already.. Coming from an M3 which looks like you track, GT3 might be the car for you, I would go GT3 IMO, and they are holding some good value
