Question regarding Techart front bumper

I just purchased a Techart front bumper II for my 996tt. My tech guy called me up today, and said that the bumper does not fit 'correctly'. According to him, maybe more parts are needed so it can align with the fenders. This is an original Techart bumper and not a replica. For those who have had this bumper installed, is there any modifications that need to be done before / while installing the bumper?

I am on a business trip now, so have no way of having a look at it myself. But would like to know your opinions.

Thanks in advance for your responses.

If you're talking about the bumper area below the side marker, it's supposed to stick out a bit.

When I did my install.... https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...ad.php?t=44095 ,
It was not a 100% perfect fit....but very close. I think mine also had 13 parts inside the bumper skin.

There is part of the stock "bumper frame" that needs to be cut. I can't remember the actual name of it...like a bracket. Then there are some minor tweeks that need to be made, but a good shop can do it easily. Mine looks/fits like stock all around.
