Turbo upgrade questions.

If I upgrade turbo's, do I need to get the headers/airbox/clutch ect.
Or can you just get the upgraded turbo's and proper ECU flash without losing too much power?

Thinking of the hybrid turbo's/or upgrade to another type, with a stock clutch and stock headers.

Thanks

The Protomotive k24/18g is a great package. All you need is k24's, Proto ecu, 5bar fpr, do the hybrid conversion and your ready to roll. If you wanna take it the extra step you can do boost controller to run 1.3bar on race gas and upgrade the actuators to sustain boost better and upgrade the air fiter.

Best bang for the buck...and more so if you already have k24's

First a response...you do not need headers or clutch. But having said that to get the most out of your hybids...it is all about flow. The component that restricts the flow will be the limiting factor for hp and torque. So long-term you will want to improve intake flow (intake and filter), exhaust flow, header flow, intake plenum....As you increase hp (and mostly torque) your clutch will be challenged...greatly dependent on how you drive...if you want to drag the stock clutch will go fast...anyway eventually it will need to be upgraded. I think starting with turbos is a good idea...then add the others when you get the coin. BTW, I think you can just port and polish the stock headers anyway. JMHO. Good luck.
