Yes I understand SPR1 with its great aerodynamic design is capable of reaching a awesome top speed 236mph and perhaps it is one of the fastest cars around. However, in term of the acceleration performance from 60~130mph, SPR1 may not be the one. The factory claim of SPR1 0~124mph is 8.7 sec, so the 100~200km is about 5.8 seconds if its 0~60mph is 2.9 sec. However, if SPR 1 try to reduce the time 5.8 sec to 4.3 sec for 100~200km, the SPR 1 will need more than 100 CHP to match what Scotts has achieved. The C10 104 racing fuel for example will at most add another 30~50CHP depending if extra tuning of fueling and timing advance have adjusted to adapt C10 fuel. Thus, to achieve what Scott has done may need more power upgrade to the SPR1

Shell V Power is 98 RON and is equivalent to 93/94 US Octane
Shell V Power Racing is 100 RON.

As long as the SPR numbers have not been verified they don't mean anything. How difficult is it to claim numbers on a website or a paid advert in a magazine article? There is no point in debating it I think, just like some 9FF numbers claimed everywhere but never tested.

The SPR1 achieved a Vmax of 370.1km/h (~230mph) in Nardo last year. Too bad Autobild didn't post any acceleration figures other than the participants 0-100km/h times (3.0s for the SPR1):
