My take? I really like the Z06. It's a fantastic car.
I'm not worried about getting beat by one (stock or modded) in my 996TT, but I also have a few mods here and there. Regardless, the Z06 is a great car and I have a lot of respect for it.

Nah, it's an old school LT1 small block with a Vortech centrifugal blower. The engine builder has been designing small blocks longer than most on this board have been alive, and he gave me a very well-balanced combination. The car is docile on the street up to about 1/4 throttle.

So I don't know, maybe you can explain why the Vette on ****ty runflats beat the GT2 and GT3 at the ring? Did I miss something or was it simply that it wasn't you with your vast racing experience behind the wheel.
Or maybe you can explain how a ZO6 keeps up with a 997GT3 on a track. You can certainly afford the car but it sure as **** doesn't mean you can drive it well. That goes as much for the Vette as your car.
I like Porsches I think they are great, but I'm not stupid, they are whacky expensive and for the money you can go just as fast in a Vette. Say whatever you want but you paid dearly to make your GT2 fast and while its great for you I think its funny that a competent driver in a stock ZO6 can go as fast.
I have seen you down at Firebird and you are not the only one having fun. And the guy in the Yellow ZO6 was a total ***** to me just like you. Funny how that works itself out.
