Very close, I got a Cayman S. That is the modern equivalent of a 924.

 

You haven't ran into a C6 Z06 that has put enough $$ to beat your car, but there will probably be a time. It wont take much to beat your GT2, no offense. A H/C/Bolt on Z06 should run right with or beat your GT2 if the driver is competent. A 136 trap speed is fast, but nothing to repeatedly brag about.

But, modded vs. modded really is not anything of my worry. What I do know is that a stock Z06 is faster than a stock 996 GT2. When you mod both of them everything is out the window.

 

Good choice, the HP of a TT or a Z06 would get you into more trouble than you are capable of handling.

SC, please reread the thread. I ran with a Z with H/C, exhaust, headers and a tune...I walked it. And yes he could drive. We swappped cars and the GT2 still won.

Then that car was broken. Dude, you act like you trap at 150 mph. my car an 11.5@125 BONE STOCK. If you truly think that you can beat a properly operating H/C/Bolt on C6 Z06 in your 136 mph trapping GT2, you are delusional.

You are right. I love the big power, I actually went up and drove an EVOMS modded TT they said was a 550hp car and it was really fast but like I said earlier, you can't exploit that stuff on the street plus it just wasnt really fun.

In my very limited experience driving 911's they are dynamically much different than the FR cars I have been driving. I never really felt that confident with the turn in and understeer of the 911 and only just started to understand how to get it through a corner. The Cayman is comically easy to jump in and drive well.

 

A video wont prove anything. That is like me telling you "I beat a CGT in my Z06. I will get it on video." If I did get it on video, what will it prove? Nothing, because a C6 Z06 will never beat a CGT and if it did on video, then something is wrong.

All I am saying is that your car traps at 136, which is impressive. A stock C6 Z06 traps at 125. With a H/C/Bolt on set up and a tune, the car will trap right about what you are trapping. In knowing that, you are telling me that you "destroyed" a H/C/Bolt on tuned Z06 even though that would put you two at very similar trap speeds. It just doesn't make sense even if you do show a video.
