I'm interested in getting aftermarket wheels, but don't want to increase the unsprung weight. What 18" or 19" aftermarket wheels are lighter than our stock wheels? Thanks.

Champion Motorsport wheels are, for one. I have the RG5B in 19" and even though they are larger the rear weighs 2 pounds lighter than my factory 18" hollow spoke rear.

Most BBS, most Champions, several HREs, OZ Ultraleggeras, etc. Do a search on wheel weights and you'll get some good info.

Are you sure about that? CF and magnesium are both pretty heavy.

Dymags are lighter than most wheels. Just how light, Im not sure, BBS, Fiske, Champion and old school Kinesis are light ad strong wheels.

Thanks for the quick response guys. Any pics of your lighter than stock wheels? I would like to see what they look on our 996TTs.
