996TT Stage 1 vs. Lamborgini Gallardo ?

Scott,
With all due respect, and after throwing out the performance of your old
stage 1 car (fastest ever in the quarter, I believe),
I had an "average stage 1 car" PSI ECU, exhuast and did multiple 60-130
mph runs and never got it under 10.96 (slow shifts). Let's say someone
could run a low 10 second 60-130; The new E-gear Gallardo with
higher horsepower and a fancy exhuast should handily beat this time.

Here are road tests of a 2001 996TT and 520 HP Gallardo SE, both from Sport Auto.
The 996TT runs 0-200 kph in 14.6 and the SE runs it in 14.4.
100-200 kph for the TT is 10.4 and 100-200 for the SE is 10.1. The SE is barely faster than a stock TT...just like it shows in the video I posted.

The Gallardo just isn't a very fast car, guys. Truth is...none of the of the Lambos are all that quick, relative to thier HP.

I already have 60-130 times for both a Gallardo SE and a Murcielago listed on the 60-130 list. They are as follows:
9.5 - Ferrari F430
10.9 - Lamborghini Murcielago
11.7 - Ferrari Challenge Stradale
12.1 - Lamborghini Gallardo

11.7 - Ferrari Challenge Stradale
12.1 - Lamborghini Gallardo

Derboost,
In good conditions a stage 4 on pump should run in the high 7's. W/ the race file and race gas, low to mid 7's. I ran a 7.7 in a serious headwind and a stage 4 w/ the race file is only about half a step behind my car.

I'll PM the original poster of the vids to come in this thread and shed some light.

Who has the vids of the M6 at the airfield walking away from the gallardo? It takes nothing more than a tune to tie an M6 on the low end, probably tune and exhaust to tie on the high end so I would say the stage 1 should beat the gallardo. Hopefully that sheds some light. Gallardos are really not that fast considering their HP/Weight ratio.

Thanks for your replies guys.
His Gallardo is not a SE but a 2004 Gallardo with updated e-gear software which makes the car 520HP(Lamborgini clams the 20HPs). Does this make any difference with the preformance of his car?
On the road where we are going to race the cars the most I can make is 310km/h and he hits 330km/h there, which tells me that he is much faster than me above 200-250km/h.
