you guys are all missing the point. Go home to your wife, but keep the stripper on the side when you want to play dirty. In other words, get a z06 as well. Considering what most of us spend in mods for the 996tt, the z06 is a steal as a "play" car.

Or just buy one already modded like mine... I'm making Z06 Beater performance and lovin' it at a much reduced cost.
Not to mention the fact that my wife will out "bang" a stripper any day of the week.

Z06 is a great evolution from the previous Corvettes. Would be great as an additional car in the stable but, in my case, not a replacement. But I do remember seeing someone from the forum moving away from their 997TT and only keeping the Z06.

The zo6 is a riot to drive. Just get rid of those GY runflats and get some other dampers on it and they really fly. Oh yeah, the brakes go soft after some heavy use. But really for the $$ a sensational value. Who cares WTF other people think of what you are driving...as long as you dig it...that's what its all about. Otherwise, you're just another poser on Sunset....
