I think he removed the wing motor since it was a pain in the *** and he didn't want to deal with error lights anymore. I'll have to verify that, though.

And bear in mind, a stock M6 is a good match for a stock 996TT, so this video is a great illustration of the UnSub's performance gains over stock.

Do you guys know if the owner of the car used rear spacers for his wheels?

Oh and meh..... for the M6! That's a quick car... could you pass the message along to the owner, Scott?

Also.. I didn't know Mexico roads are that smooth.

It's actually a very good match for a stock 997TT. The M6 will beat a stock 996TT pretty easily.

Arnee,

From what I've been told, the owner uses 21mm RUF Spacers on the rear of his car, and 7mm RUF spacers up front.

I believe the RUF spacers also add another measure of protection, since they provide studs for the wheels to ride on, rather than just lug bolts.

I believe the owner of the Porsche wanted to use a stock, but fast car...of which the acceleration capability is a known factor. This way, it can provide an accurate litmus IRT of the acceleration ability of the Porsche.

I believe he originally wanted to use a stock C6 Z06...but was unable to find one in that particular area of Mexico.
