All due respect to that particular M3 and it'a owner, with or without race gas....he has absolutely no chance.
That was my stage 2 and it actually made the higest RWHP of ANY stage 2 on this forum or that I have heard to this day (I am sure someone will prove me wrong any minute now with a newer car ), it was not slow... I lost to Jerry's Yellow Stage 3 M3 running race gas AND NITROUS which was up over 525BHP and my car was over 100HP less than Awais's car with smaller turbos, so what do you expect? Trust me, my car was not slow, Jerry's car was very fast.... I was able to pull a stage 2 AA supercharged car 3-4 lengths, but lost to Jerry's stage 3, thats how quick his car was....

How did you come up with the slowest stage 2 on the planet? Mr 950HP turbo is a big man now, talking down to a previous stage 2 owner?? Please..., no one cares Scott, I could have had a 1000HP Turbo if I wanted, money was no object, I was content at stage 2 so thats where I stayed........

To Awais, great run man, looks like your car is running really strong

evan, i remember that bid, pretty good one. i remember jerrys car being GUTTED too. no rear seats no door panels. all that weight makes a huge difference too. your car didnt looks by more than a car length or two IIRC AND you were full weight too.

All due respect, who cares how much power it made on a dyno? Dyno numbers don't mean anything without performance numbers that back them up.

Because you only trapped 119 mph on a Florida track (trap speed being a primary indicator of how fast a car is from a roll). 119 mph is what a bone stock X50 car will do. I've never heard of another Stage 2 car trapping as slow at sea-level as you did.

Anyway, my point wasn't to trash at all you...it was to simply say that the older video of a "Stage 2" TT vs the Jerry's Stage M3 was not indicative of what you would normally see. Because that particular Stage 2 TT wasn't proven to be any quicker than a stock X50 car.

Please..., no one cares Scott, I could have had a 1000HP Turbo if I wanted, money was no object...
Eh? You've lost me here. I have no idea why you're talking about how much money you have or what it has to do with the topic at hand.

being gutted and/or lots of lighweight reduction makes quite a difference. IIRC.....both AMG-ETR and Jerry's ligthened SC M3 (without NOS) both trapped around 118-119 MPH...which is how they were very close in those races. With Spray....it was no contest as Jerry's M3 pulled with that advantage.

Nice Video... about what I would expect. This M3 looked like it put up more of a fight than the M6 in the other video though.

I think the S/C M3 and the stock M6 would be a very good race. The difference is that this TT and the TT in the other video are making significantly different amounts of power.

Exactly. while evans car was at full weight or close, prob 3500+ lbs, and jerrys car was prob sub 3000 lbs, weight is def a HUGE factor. the NOS helps out a lot too.

Why would you even bother racing him again? You demolished him, seems like a waste of gas IMO.

I wasn't looking for exact numbers, I'm just wondering how it feels at 1.1 bar vs. 1.3.

You know, on the butt dyno.

I'd like to know.....about how much HP difference there is running 1.1 bar as opposed to the 1.3 bar. 40 HP or so? TIA

For what it's worth the Stage 3 SC M3 hasn't had alot of miles under it's belt and had a new clutch installed that day. That said, I am not sure of the SC M3 is running right.

He mentioned a slow-down rev issue when he would shift near redline @ WOT and the way Awais pulled on him, he looked like more a stock M3.

Awais: I should have "benchmarked" his car by lining up with him for 1 run to make sure he was making Stage 3 power...

BTW: The turbos are LOUD!! love it..
