I just talked my wife into a new home with 4 car garage and now I have
to go back and convince to tear off my K24-18g's and put on some
GT30's (oh and water cooling lines, oil lines, new custom Proto headers,
(throw my other new ones away), new "mufflers", sell my 4th exhuast system, etc. ???? Well OK, only if they really do what you say, Sharkey!

What the GT35's really need is a stroker crank. This add really wakes up the torque in the lower and mid rpm's. I doesn't get a big kick with hp in the higher rpm's like the increased piston route does. When you increase displacement by adding piston diameter you don't get the torque kick down low like the stroker. The larger piston route adds hp to the mid to upper rpm range with just a little increased torque. Our tests showed the two ways to add displacement have totally different effects on power and torque.
Of course the best of both world's will use both routes.
I spoke with the US distributor for Arrow Precision today and they said Todd K was recently making inquiries regarding their stroker crank. Another way to go with the stroker would be to regrind a GT3 crank. I don't believe I would use a stock turbo crank. It won't be long before others follow.
