Very very nice mano... I have yet to see one in person. What's the HP etc.. on it?

That's first good looking Bimmer in a while!

It could be better though ... the interior is still crap IMO. The e46 M3 is the last best BMW in production now.

Congrats on your new ride Lou, has this superceded the 745iL? If yes, why? I 've been in two of the 645s now and they're really nice yet I know practically nothing about them. Would be interested in your impressions on the 6 vs 7 series. when you sell your TT, btw I want dibs on that cargraphic exhaust

Regards,

Geoff

I just destroyed one of those in my RS6. Guy refused to stop racing -- gave him 8 chances.

BTW, are you referring to the Plastic silver intererior of the M3 or the black nylon trim?

Cool. Give us the rundown. But why no E55 or RS6?

lsm,

congrats, nice car. i've looked at a couple of these in the past few days.

shank,

of course you did. the rs is an animal, and this is not yet the m6. audi, mb and bmw are all pretty close in my mind, i've had several; audis got hurt in late 80's and early 90's on resale but are coming back nicely as people once again discover how great they are. my new 745i has the highest quality interior i've seen (but has probably been flogged in press more than any other), but i liked the a8 just as much, maybe better given awd. i'm not too happy about the interior in the sl i had, and the smell gave me a headache. that being said, i would still like to know what you want for your 600, hehehe. pm me.

Congrats LSM! I'm on the list for the M6, but I'm not sure if it's the car for me. I'll wait and see if there's a 997 TT first!

Congratulations on the purchase. It is definately one of the better Bangle designs out there. I cannot wait to hear your impressions compared to the 996tt and your old M5.

There is no comparison to the 996TT or an E39 M5.

Went for a spin in one the other day...Car looks OK...SMG is pretty cool but that's really about it. I thought the back seats would have more room...but they're pretty much useless. The car drives like a CL class.

Oh well...to each his own.

LSM,

Congrats on the car. I have only seen one briefly on the road and it was in that gold/beige color. It looked horrendous. The black seems to really flatter the car. Cant wait to see more pics and hear your impressions!

Lou,

Congratulations on your new car, good luck with it. Car looks great, guess its black/black again. Is the headliner black also?
