Specifically I have:

Item# 1M1.8005A
Brembo 6 piston 355 x 32 mm Monoblock front brake kit Porsche 996TT
crossed drilled rotors

I hope they fit in factory wheels (they should since they are MADE for this
car) Dan at VIVID assured me they would fit with my factory wheels since that is what I run on the track with
Hoosiers (Sharkey, for once I hope that you are wrong!!)
This is the brake kit that brembo just came out with and has experience
some backorders.

Is this what you have ???
Where did you buy them??

MK

Yeah those are the ones I'm talking about. I wish I was wrong but it's come up before and won't work. Now you _may_ be able to use a spacer...

Very Nice

That was the specific reason I bought them...

direct bolt on and is made for the car as is!!

Otherwise I had complete kit of parts I could have gotten from
Sharkey to make things work.

I am amazed, once again.

I have these brakes with the 380mm rotors on my 997S with 19" Champion RG5's and they fit fine. This doesn't help you, but I weigh in because they are such phenomenal brakes that I would upgrade the wheels to accomodate them.

In case anybody is wondering, we have the ability to cross reference the Brembo kits against the wheels we sell to see if they work. Brembo also has templates available to use to check the brake kits against your wheels. It's a PDF you print, cut out, and use on the back of your wheel to see if the kit will fit before you buy. Your wheel retailer should have this info available, though. 355mm is tough, and 380mm is almost always a modular to allow enough scoop to clear the caliper corner. Very few wheels will clear.

Andy, yes that kit does work but that's not the same one in question here. The EVOMs kit uses the GT3 calipers etc...

Thumbs up

I confirmed today what CarNerd, Sharkey and the lovable Oak said;
these new Brembo 6 piston monoblocks absolutely WILL NOT work with
the factory 18" wheels, period. Brembo has a cad drawing available to email
to prospective customers before they buy this product. An automatic question Caveat by ANYONE selling these should be "THESE WILL NOT WORK
WITH YOUR FACTORY WHEELS, What wheels are you planning on using ??"

Thanks for your quick and accurate response, Sharkey!

This then becomes not a $4000 decision, but an $8000 one .

Marty K.
