if its still stuttering a little the only sensible thing would be coils... I replace mine and dont any chances because labor alone will kill u if u have to take it a apart again....

I will take the coils into consideration and make sure Dave will ask about it again.
Thanks Marski!

Check or change out the MAF.
A bad maf makes the car run too rich at cruise, so the ECU adjusts the fuel trims leaner to compensate. Then at full throttle over 3000 +/- RPM it's too lean, and you get a lean miss. My car ran like it had a clogged fuel filter or bad plugs but it was actually the MAF.

sure thing...I appreciate all the help I have received! I hope we can resolve his issues...he hates CEL lights and it is part of the problem...hope to get to the bottom of it soon so he can enjoy his car again.

Dumb newbie question here. What is a coil pack? How many are there? What do they do and what is there life span? Just trying to learn what to keep an eye out for. Also, what was the name of the shop in Annapolis?

Coil packs are new versions of the distributor and coil. Each cylinder gets it's own coil for sparkin the plugs.
