Upsolute - boost question

Upsolute - boost question
So I installed the Upsolute chip last night. At first it would not go past .6-.7 bar, then I drove it around for 20 min to let the car get used to it. Then I took off the PSM and I saw 0.8 - 1.0 a couple very short times but it was still holding at .07 during the majority of the acceleration runs. I will say it feels stronger but not seeing the 1.0-1.1 steady that everyone else is seeing.
Has anyone else had this issue with upsolute?
I saw another post that said to tighten up the wastegates, is that true?

you need new diverter valves, stock ones can't hold enough boost
also stock boost gauge isn't very accurate...
I see 0.9-1 normally, sometimes 1.1, better reading 5th and 6th gear ~4500-5500rpm

WIRX - Thanks for the response-
I am still just seeing .7 regularly will the stock DV's hold it back that much?
I thought they just wouldnt last long under that kind of stress...in which case my warranty would nicely replace them with some aftermarket ones

I am running UMW tune, with stock DV (too lazy to install the Forge DVs I got). I hit 1.0 -1.1 in 3rd.

some stock DV are good, some isn't...80-90% isn't...
good perfomance DV cost about 100$+ you need 2 DV-s

DV are easy change, take about 15 min to change.
btw PSM off/on won't give any effect to bar readings(mybe only 1st gear or wet conditions)

I would probably do the dvs but aslo turn the nuts on the WG springs clockwise one full turn to start with. its is this setting that actually sets the boost seeting.... ur just going to change it manually. Problem is that stock WG springs ca not hold much boost so no matter how many turns u make there is a point where it becomes useless....

I don't think the stock DVs are holding you back...as Mark said they should be upgraded as a matter of eventually they will fail. The wastegates could be adjusted, but you should still see better with the chip, IMHO. Why don't you see if you've thrown any codes?
