Depends what your goal is. If it's to excel in drag racing..absolutely, E.T. is king. But if it's to measure your cars real-world power.. (which is what I was doing)...trap speed is king.

If hitting 9's was truly important to me, Kenny,...I would strip the hell out of my car and run some serious drag tires and wheels. But, it just isn't that important to me at all.

Congrats Scott, that car is killer fast. I think you and cardcounter would be a great race to see. I will have MIR rented in the fall when theres nice cool weather, you should come have fun with us. I know Jason will be there along with cardcounter.

Those are awesome trap speeds. I assume you were at the top of 4th gear??? My driftbox showed that my car was at 146 mph for the last 100 ft or so of the track. i think i have to bump up my rev limited another 200 rpm or just shift into 5th for a higher trap speed.

dk - the answer is bumping your rev limiter 200 rpm and not shifting into 5th...by the time that shift happens and you're back into boost the 1/4 will be over.

Yep...the top of 4th gear on GT30s.

On a side note, now that I don't own my car any longer, I feel better about making public trap speed predictions with it's current GT35's.

I'm predicting Brad will hit 152 mph in that car.
