Stock GT2 vs EVO Stage 4
As promised in my prior thread, we tested my new stock GT2 against my old EVO Stage 4 car that dynoed 501RWHP in Phoenix. The results are perhaps not terribly startling. With the cameraman in the Stage 4 car, both cars are about equal in acceleration. This was an extra passenger weight of about 120lbs for the stage 4 car, probably 350lb total extra weight over my GT2. In other words, my stock GT2 is probably producing only 10% less power than my old car. Video is here mms://VHMedia.pinnaclesys.com/VidEncoded/8E1748C67B0E0191554ADAEA9D8BE943/269257_2.wmv

Off the line acceleration, a GT2, hp per hp, is at a distinct disadvantage. It cannot connect as much hp to the ground as an awd turbo. As speeds increase, it's lighter weight will begin to become an advantage. This is assuming the gearing hasn't been changed.
You start to input different track configerations and the advantages will increase and decrease depending on the configeration.

I weigh 240, the tt owner weighs 180 and the camera man was 180. When the camera man was in my car the result was different. See
