Yes, when I had my GT700 it ran out of steam at 4800 when being dynoed. But from a standstill to 4800 it felt like a big block chevy!!! I think this setup is preferable for most because of the lack of lag; however, when doing street racing you just start loosing acceleration around 110 to 120... which means you will loose.
