Don't Sell!!
Don't allow some idiot CHP to dictate what you should or shouldn't be driving.
Matter of fact, I got pulled over AGAIN today in my car. I was behind an idiot in a pickup who was in the hammer lane, side by side right next to a semi. I finally had a small clearing and I gunned it and got passed him. Wouldn't you know it, there was a cop running laser. I was doing about 100 mph at the time. I always scan and knew the road and should have known better as it is a notorious place for them to sit. I locked my brakes and actually squealed them hard when my Bel Lazer diffuser system went off. It didn't work. Afer I had my bumper done, the guys placed my LED heads too deep into the bumper. I knew I should have fixed that.
I got pulled over.
As I got pulled over, the a$$hole in the pickup honked as he drove by, which really ticked me off. The cop told me he got me doing 76 mph in a 55 mph and that was AFTER he saw and heard me lock my tires! He felt it necessary to let me know he was fairly confident that my car could probably stop quicker than most. He made a few additional comments about the car as it was evident, the "Porsche owner" was about to get some chop busting. Didn't matter. Had to respect the uniform, as I truly do.
Bottom line is that there's NO WAY I would even remotely sell my car after such an incident. NO WAY.
Your car doesn't look too different from mine. If you put half as much time as I put into mine to make it look the way it does, I'd be more interested in how to fight the system so I didn't get pulled over again, rather than sell my dream?! No?
