I have something similar on my S4, havinf a diffuser is fun. My friends will be behind me driving and love watching trash, like plastic bags, go through my diffuser.

I hate to be negative...but here I go: Do you really want to cover the engine like that and retain heat? Also, such a diffuser would need to be made of some seriously heat resistant materials. FWIW, I also think it looks cool.

I don't know about this particular diffuser personally, however a properly designed diffuser will affect downforce by allowing smoother rearward and over-body airflow. The effects are minimal however, when comparing other parts that are designed for lift reduction.
