lol...he said thats only like the second one he has made. I had the full cf package from porsche and the little strip of cf that was laid into the leather had delaminated. This was cheaper and way faster than waiting for porsche to remake the piece (primarily due to my leather color/stitching/etc)...and looks better.
There is a little bit of reflection from it, but the red dash reflects onto the windshield anyway, so it doesnt really bother me.

Really super looking....wishing I had carbon now. I have wood. I like it a lot, but the carbon is quite tasteful and well done. Enjoy and thanks for sharing.

LOL, i would say ugly twin, your car is beautiful, but yeah for sure we have the inverse of each others interiors :-)
BTW - it looks like your red matches mine, so if you want the red dash surrounds that came out (you would have to figure out what to do with the strips where the CF used to be - some glossy black plastic inserts would prolly look good and would be easy enough), they are yours.

OEM CF 6speed shifter. Older, but better shot.

Your 6 speed CF shifter is different than mine - mine has the Turbo script written up the aluminum part.

The part im talking about is the dash surround that is now CF in my car...i think porsche calls it the defroster surround. its all that red leather color with gray stitching. ill take a pic here in a few for you.

banditlex is infamous around these parts
As with all carbon peices, how long will it last sitting in direct sunlight where it is located? Will it yellow and, more importantly, does it reflect the light (which is why you rarely see carbon peices on top of the dash like that). It does look great though.

villains - Any more pics of your interior? I'd love to see the red leather with gray stitching... I'm considering gray leather with red stitching for my next P-car, but this might be better.

Agreed, but really the factory had the CF there to start with, this is just more of it :-) Im going to make sure to keep the interior temp of the car low if at all possible and keep that dash out of the sun...so i'll keep my fingers crossed.
but that is for sure why John doesnt build a lot of those.
