Just remembered 6Speeder "wirx" and his 26 second 0-300kph run. NOt sure what his 996TT has, but I believe not much other than a 75 Shot of NOS and some mild mods.

The list is BS. Everyone knows the Z06 should be ranked much higher than that...

It's true that the test conditions play a big role with this kind of acceleration test. But if you don't believe those numbers at all, well... you can always go and try it yourself.

Z06 just isn't fast after 250km/h, a known fact at the Autobahn.

This video will help you understand why it is so slow to 300kph. Check out the acceleration rate after 250km/hr when he moves to the last gear.

Instead of calling BS it would be great if you could show different numbers to add them to the list.

Erik, the RT12 with "vmax" gearing which did 27s was and is the exact same car, which has the shorter sixth gear which does 24.xx to 300.

The 27s run was because the guy testing the car had no idea how to drive.

Our car did 0-200mph in 35s(during a gps verified autocar magazine shootout), so 0-300 would be around 27-29s.

best,
adam

Adam, should've asked you!

Just for your records in case you don't have it, here is the online version of the test from R&T, and coincidentally, the top speed reached in one mile was almost exactly 300 kph Different tests can yield slightly different results of course.

Now if you could email me your GPS data from your runs I would be... extatic!

They must have tested the Z06 in the snow... thats the only explanation... also the entire run must have been in 5th gear. Started in fifth and never shifted. That must be it.
