As luck would have it while in Mexico this morning I ran into a friends

Ford GT, white with blue stripes, dirty (he lives on dirt road), Ford
SVT Headers, muffler and tune (550 Rwhp). I ran him twice with
a tank of 100 octane gas in my car. Both times I was ahead of him and
let him pass me and then hit it...Both times same result, It was like the Greyhound bus depot...Buslengths Baby!!! I killed it both times
(aprox 85-155 first run), and 80-165 second run.

Score: Protomotive: 2, Tuned, piped Ford GT: 0

I told him he needs a pulley kit or something .

The kicker is that I was driving home (about 1500 miles) and I found
out I was on LOW Boost, what a dumbass!

So it looks like I got a little something for his "pulley kit" next time.

Marty...sounds like fun...no fair. What do you mean you were on low boost? ECU program set on lower octane? Can you control this some other way (Greedy)?

 

Yes,

In my console I have a G-Reddy with lo and high setting.
lo is 1.1 bar, high is 1.35 bar approx.
It feels insane on high boost.

I was on low.

Someday I think I will head to Mexico to test the road conditions out there. From what I have heard lately they are very good!!

Rumor has it there are some nice roads south of the horse track (Cantenbury) in Mexico where there are never any Federales.
