03 X50 Turbo vs 2007 CLK63
I have a 2003 Blk/Blk X50 with 6K. The car has been flashed with GIAC. The car runs amazing. It must be a strong car from the factory. It dynoed stock at 375 HP and 450 HP after the flash at the wheels. I have stock exhaust. A friend just bought a brand new 2007 CLK63. We went out last week and played around. It is a fast car but no match for the Porsche. In every gear the porsche walked away. The guy was truly upset. The dealer had really hyped him up. He now wants to do some mods. Does anyone know what can be done to the benz to give it more power. Im sure its not as easy as a turbo but please let me know. All information is greatly appreciated.

First have him pull the charcoal filters. Then contcat Vadim @ GMG I hear he has a few mods up his sleeve for the 63. Then the car should be putting out north of 550hp. His biggest handicap is weight. The car will still not be a match for a modded x50.
If he wants a MB that will give a x50 a hard time in the 1/4 mile have him buy a w211 e55 and start modding the hell of it. There is a nice stage 5 e55 in UT for sale that runs low 11's all day long for only $65k.

A CL was baiting me the other day, and I figured even it was a CL55 it would not have been a match and exited the freeway. As I was existing I saw that the car was in fact CL65, but it was too late. I was already on the offramp.
I wonder how that would have turned out on a freeway roll. That car has 750 ft/lb of torque to offset the weight....

Vadim Fedorovsky is one of the, if not the best Benz tuner and R&D in the US today. At MBworld.org he did great contributions and we (Pierre32///AMG) did great "things" to our C32's.
He is a 6speed member and sponsor GMC:

Either way, it will be hard to a 6.3 AMG to go close to a X50 chipped.

The C63 is N/A correct? I dont think there is much he can do to it that will make it faster than a properly driven and chipped x-50. Like mentioned before the only cars to worry about are the supercharged E55's and Turbo CL's and such that are modded. A CL65 could probably whoop ya.
