996 turbo issues

My 996 turbo with 30k miles was running fine with GIAC stage 1, forge diverters and BMC filter, I would normally hit 1.0-1.1 bar without issues. I bought a new Fabspeed v3 and had it installed. Now I seem to have 2 issues. Before going further, let me say that with light to moderate driving, everything is ok, no CEL etc...

First is noise issue. Under light loads, the exhaust is very very nice. If I accelerate slowly and consistently, no problem, still nice. But when I get on it hard, it makes a gawd awful sound... sounds more like a bad rice burner exhaust than anything. I am guessing exhaust leak, any ideas???

Second problem appeared when the exhaust was installed, but basically same as above, when getting on the boost hard I hear a VERY loud wooshing sound when accelerating, almost sounds like diverters arent holding and dumping boost. the boost also comes on very sudden and will see .9 regularily. Sometimes I can see 1.1 -1.2 but very hard to reproduce. It really feels like I am missing about 15-20% of power. Any issues with diverters or boost leaks when GIAC stage 1/forge diverters and exhaust?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Mark do you have that link on how to do one? I'm still not sure if its my wastegates or a boost leak because I am only seeing .8bar myself. Can the dealer do the same, if they know what they are looking for?

Powell -- 0.8 bar is factory setting for an X50. Not sure if the factory software for k16's holds at the same level. That data must be somewehre on this site. You might be fine, given your setup. Did you ever re-flash?
