Kill Story #2...
I was cruising down the freeway today on the way to a family get together
minding my own business and Snap, up next to me pulls a Lexus IS300 with
huge horizontal intercooler in front and a large tailpipe in back (I also noticed aftermarket brakes), but the thing that really struck me was the license plate! "YU LOSE" Well my friends, if you had just gotten your car back from Protomotive and spent your kids inheritance...What would you do???
That's right, I let him take off (so I could read the back of his cap)
then I do what it does best...I wound it up to about 7K in 3rd 4th and partway thru 5th then I backed off; took a nap, and waited for him to catch
up. He came by and sheepishly gave me the thumbs up and I returned the favor by pointing at him. (BTW: I was on wonderful minnesota 92 octane and low boost)
Kill #1 == Piped Ford GT
Kill #2 == Single turbo Lexus IS300
On Deck: 99 Viper GTS with ROE running 10 lb pulley

I have (2) aquaintences that have S/C Vipers and want to run them.
A)2003 with Paxton, cam, heads. B)1999 with ROE and 10lb pulley.
1999 did 653 hp at the wheels.
I do not think I will win but I want to see what it takes to beat
my car so I have a good yardstick. I also have buddy who did EVOMS GT700
kit with race file this spring and we have not hooked up yet. All in good fun!
