The Ruf CTR does 0-60 in 4.0 seconds, but takes only 3.3 more seconds to reach 100!

KA goes from 0-63 mph in first gear. First gear is 3.16-1 gear ratio and 25.6 inch OD rear tires. Even with this gear ratio and tire OD it requires 7600 rpm's. A stock turbo has a 3.86-1 first gear ratio and 25.0 inch OD rear tires. At 7000 rpm's that translates to about 38 mph in first. I'm not going to divulge the time....no one would believe it anyway.

True for the Porsche and Ruf. However, not true for some other cars. For example, I recall the Saleen does 0-60 in 3.3 sec, but 0-100 in 8.8 (i.e., no 1st to 2nd shift from 0-60). So, if you bought the Saleen on it's 0-60 time, you would be disappointed if you come across a Ruf.
Similarly, you would be disappointed when a Ruf passes your X50 (which it easily will on the freeway or track), even though they have similar 0-60 times. However, if you're racing to your neighbor's house from a stop, maybe the X50 will get there first.
BTW, what's KA's 0-100 time? I'll believe anything over 6 seconds.

Sorry, not giving out any times for now. She is very fast from 0-200+ mph. I will say first and second gears have been extended. Third through sixth gears have been shortened. Tyson's old turbo could do 0-60 in 3.1 seconds and it had to shift.

just remember, there is quick and there is fast. Dragsters are fast and have great 0-60 times... and they stop one time only with a parachute and they replace the clutch each time they go 1/4 mile. I always liked quick better. And as for the track, the only time you go 0-60 is if you flew off the track and need to come back on.
