Turbo with a bra

I haven't made my mind up if I like a bra on the 996 or not, so I am looking for comments. I don't expect keeping it on full-time, but it does make the car look different for ~100 bucks. I did the silly mirror cover too, just to top it off.

I'd get the clear bra. Bra's are INFAMOUS for scratching paint. Even ones that fit well will often leave micro scratches. I'd clear bra it and be done with it.

It loooks okay. Takes away from the look of the car, in my opinion.

I went with the clear bra and love it!!!

I went with the clear bra too, the black looks cheap in my opinion and will scratch the paint.

Use Clearbra of any variety. I installed VentureShield which supposedly has a better protection and is "opticallly" clearer...

I used Colgan Bra's since my 1976 BMW 2002 up to my 02C4s. They work as long as you keep the car clean, don't use when moisture is present and watch for "flapping" at high speeds. On my C4S (or your turbo) you have to worry about the front end due to the front straps secure under the front spoiler. If you hit a dip or driveway even slightly the straps get damaged or torn off very easily. On my Turbo...I went clear bra..would not go back to a regular bra...but would always go old school with Van Halen.

clear bra only. If you want to put a "nose mask" on the car, get an IROC

GT3RS Bra?

I'm trying to get speed lingerie to make a color matching bra for my GT3RS. They don't have a car to template it off of and I'm wondering how the nose of the GT3RS differs from the 997 GT3? Is the wider RS body only at the rear? Thanks
