Rob, I will go next year and maybe drag Mark as well. I would like to make it this year but I dont want to take a car that hasnt been properly broken in. Hopefully the Texas Mile will be an option but If not then maybe both events next year. It isnt real hard for me to get my car around the country .......

I would like to give the Texas mile a try but I think the safety requirements and my cars stock aerodynamics would be a problem approaching 200mph.I really don't wanna fit a 6 point cage(I don't think the Tequipment will do) and a chute just to do it.

Joe, as far as I can tell the rules do not require a 6 point bar. I belive the teq bar, FE, firesuit, etc are adequate althought he regualtions are kind of confusing...I am sure some one who has been there can clarify...BTW, what makes you think you are going to run 200mph ...Just slap your VRAlexander bobblehead on the dash and let er rip.....

I just got back from a week in Arkansas at Protomotive (changes are in sig). I dynoed 605 on the top of Hillbilly mountain in 102 heat. I am making at least 55 more here at sea level and should make more when the weather gets cooler.

I will post a thread about the trip (here:https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...89#post1272489 especially since I bought a vacation/rental property on the trip.

So that means since my car made 830 on the same dyno, it makes 880 here at sea level? No. The dynos are SAE corrected.

Scott,

I was limited to 1.1-1.2 bars by my boost controller in the altitude. Once I came off the mountain she was making 1.5 which I turned down to 1.4 (1.2 on pump gas). The car is dramatically faster, night and day, once I got her down off the mountain. Also, it was around 110 degrees in Todds garage that day.

I will bet the bank that I am making around 650 or a bit more now.

I think there is a formula for each .1 bar, yes? If I made 605 at 1.1, how much will the extra .3 give me?
