you cant go wrong with all above mentioned. It also comes down to how much ur willing to spend.
in my opinion, get some used fabspeed exhaust, used headers like the ported ones.... used V flow box, .. some guys are selling also new DVs and new BMC filters... u also need a 5 bar FPR- I now where to get them for 76 bucks vs. $240. this way u will save a few thousand dollars...
then it will be up to u which tuner to go with. all you need then is turbos and a ECU. this set up will kill vettes... unless they have a lot more work done.

I have a EVO 700. I got about 5000 miles on the kit. And 35.000 miles on the car. Car is a daily driver. It runs great. We sent the car to EVOMS to do the 700 kit. Very happy with the work they have done. Have raced a few Fast Vetts and Won.
It has been pretty much trouble free.

I think your best bet is to go through past post about all these tuners and different packages. Also go get rides in different tuned cars. Thats the only way youll know and be happy with your decision.

If you are looking to beat a stock C6ZO6 you will need a 600 hp kit from one of the tuners mentioned above.Only problem is most of them are modded.....headers,cam,tune(550RWHP for $4500).You will need a 700 kit to beat a modded Z.How do I know?I raced one (550RWHP) from 60-140 and he stayed right with me (got him by about a car to car and a half)when I was a GT700 on pump gas(@620RWHP).Why?A stock bodied AWD 996 turbo gives up about 350-400lbs in weight to a C6Z.A race file will do better.Do it once and get a 700 kit from the start.I also happen to own both cars. The Z is pretty formidable even slightly modded.

I can add nothing more, Joe obviously knows his stuff^^.
I agree that you need a "700 Kit", the above mentioned tuners
are all really good and you cannot go wrong with any of them.
I also came across another kit that a buddy has on his GT2,
Speed Gallery 650, this one will take care of a stock Z06 as well
as slightly modded ones.
Having this level kit and up gives you the confidence to know
that you can beat most anything.

I beat a stock Z06 this past weekend in a 3/4 mile race. Lined up against it and had it beat all the way down the track (up to 166+mph). The Z trapped consistently 2-3mph slower than me all day through 6 races, however the times were pretty close. And there's no way I'm at the 600hp level (see mod list below).
With stock K16's and a couple of easy mods you'll have a Z killer.

I agree jimmer23 - chip, straight pipes and
diverter valves = z06 in rear view mirror
ofcoors you need very fast shifting and good start
here is one video too

I have only chip and slipping clutch....but til 200km/h we were even, then z06 goes ahed
