Hey guys please keep an Eye out for my old 993 turbo Blk/blk
53k miles, It had a fvd level 3 set up, full carbon and light kill switches. It was stolen monday night out of my Brothers building garage in Studio City CA. at 11:42 pm. The theives managed to move the camera. The car had sportcats and muffler bypass pipes.

if someone went through that much trouble to get it there is no way you're getting it back.

The good news is that you don't really want it back. Either car thieves are good, keep the cars pristine, and sell them overseas in which case you never find them; or they're just punks who joyride and destroy the car. You're better off with the insurance money.

Bryan, sorry to hear man. That has got to be the worst feeling. I'll be on the lookout but as offroad mentioned, chances will probably be slim. Your car "sounds" just like mine but mine is black/tan. Good luck.

In California I believe that you have a 30 day grace period to pay your premiums before they can officially cancel you. If you are in that window, I believe that you can still pay the premium and be covered.

 

You have GOT to be kidding me. Sorry, but how could you let insurance lapse on such an expensive car!!!

My heart goes out to you, especially since I had a blk/blk 97 turbo. It is still one of my favorite cars. Could they be doing it for parts? Keep an eye on ebay over the next few months.

 

My brand new M-3 was stolen on my birthday last year...wife (now ex wife) never paid the insurance and the policy lapsed. Past the 30 day grace period.

Car was recovered...$20K in damage...and .....the insurance company paid!!
